The Mews was a great start to our first trip to Ireland. Great B&B, within walking distance to Blarney Castle. Vicky was a wonderful hostess. She provided helpful tips and recommendations on what to do. Breakfast was also delicious!

We loved this B & B. The place is beautiful and very well kept. The room was very clean and modern. My husband loved the shower. Great water pressure. Vicky was very nice and accommodating. Our only regret is that it was our first B&B after arriving from the U.S. and we were jet lagged and we missed breakfast every day we stayed there. We would have loved to have spent the time with Vicky and the other guests.

Great B&B, very close to Blarney Castle. Room was great and modern. Breakfast was also great. Vicky was awesome - we went running in the morning, got lost, I ended up separated from my spouse, got back to the B&B and Vicky volunteered to drive around to see if she could find her...embarrassing, but shows Vicky goes above and beyond. We also had questions about what beach to go to and she provided us the location of a great, little beach where we were able to cool off and avoid the "heat wave" they were having at the time.

This was our first trip to Ireland and the first time we have stayed at B&Bs. During our stay in Ireland we stayed at one hotel and five B&Bs across the Republic of Ireland; at first we were leary about making reservations at this location solely based on the "not rated" status from the website. We decided to take a chance based on Vicky's narrative saying this is a new B&B and she grew up in the business with her parents hosting B&Bs. I am definitely happy we took this leap of faith, this B&B is clean, has all of the personal amenities of a hotel with a much better atmosphere. It sits far enough from the main road you are in peaceful bliss and plenty of bird watching. There is a side walk that leads into town, perfect walking distance to enjoy the town's pubs, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed talking with Vicky and she is very knowledgeable about Ireland and if you need anything she is right there for you. We are already making plans to return to Ireland and Vicky's B&B is definitely on our itinerary for a return visit. Out of the 5 B&Bs we stayed at the Mews at Beechwood House rates number 1 of 5 in our book, this is a must stay for your vacation.
