We enjoyed our stayed at Mystic Mountain. Our Host (and Hostess) were very attentive to our needs. This B&B is very close to Killarney and the little village - which we enjoyed the Pub very much. Our Room was ensuite, which was fine since we had a sink in our room for handwashing and toothbrushing. Loved the window, letting in natural light and we could watch what was going on. The food was delicious, especially the yummy pancake. The guest common room was very nice and much bigger and warmer than expected. I hope to come by again when traveling Ireland.

The Dutch hosts were very nice and supportive. They dried our beach towels (air drying was not posibble that day). The breakfast was fine with good coffee.

Nice B&B, good location quite close to Killerney and to the hiking spots, nice and large house, good Irish breakfast with a touch of Holland. Free bottle of water and guest kitchen complete the offer, and the price is affordable considering the location One only negative comment about the rooms: we were 5 and we got a family room and a double room: while the first was large, spacious and comfortable, the double room was really tiny and with a very small bed for 2 people.

Host's Reply:
Dear Mark, Thank you for your review, which we consider very positive. We know room #2 is small, it is the "Double Standard" and due to it's inconvenience 10 Euro per night cheaper than the Double Ensuite, which has more space and toilet and shower in the room. We are sorry that travel agents just book the room without consulting the guests. We do feel awkward sometimes, when a mother and adult son, or father and adult son, much share the bed, when they thought they booked a twin room. In the high season, when we are fully booked, we have no options to upgrade guests to a more suitable room, because those rooms are booked early in the year. Where as in the low season we do offer an other room if people are disappointed at first loook in room #2. We can not do anything about the size of the room and the bed, which is standard Irish double bed size, is the maximum that fits in there. Regards, Jan and José.
