Welcome to Scapaflow B&B, a charming and centrally located Bed and Breakfast in the heart of O’Briensbridge Village, on the banks of the River Shannon in Co Clare. Guests can look forward to warm hospitality, inviting bedrooms and a delicious varied breakfast menu in a peaceful setting, just a 10-minute drive from the historic villages Killaloe and Castleconnell. Our location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with beautiful looped walks aplenty and we are an excellent region for fishing and water sports. We are the perfect base for exploring East-Clare and are only a 20-minute drive to Limerick City and a 25-minute drive from Shannon Airport. Thomond Park rugby grounds is 10-minutes away.

Angling: Nestled close to the River Shannon, we are the perfect spot for angling enthusiasts. Our location is a good coarse angling base and pike fishing location. We are also situated nicely for fishing the nearby East Clare Lakes. Nearby angling centres include Killaloe, Mountshannon and Scariff.
kayaking rowing : there is kayaking in the village and rowing within walking distace 5 minutes
Limerick City: Limerick is a lively modern city, yet still manages to retail its historical magic. Historical sites to visit include the Hunt Museum and St John’s Castle where the city’s history is brought to life by costumed characters and interesting exhibitions. The University of Limerick campus is a must-visit with beautiful walks around the grounds. A guided walking tour is the ideal way to explore the city’s history.
Looped Walks: There's an abundance of looped walks in our location which are well sign-posted and vary in length. Most of the looped walks range from 1 to 4 hours and are suited to all walking levels. The walks are located in and around the local towns and villages where the landscape lends itself to rugged hills and pretty valleys mingled with rivers, lakes and woodlands. I will be happy to advise you on the different walks beside Scapaflow B&B.
