On motorbike from Sweden to Ireland a tour to the SV of Ireland is a must to do. We looked for a B&B for two nights stay and found The Anvil as a proper place to styi in. A day in the Dingel-circel made the day. Over al a pleasent B&B with bar/resturant. Good and quiet room with exelent bathroom. Well situated for daytrips to both Kerry and Dingel.

My family took a girl's trip to Ireland, our first trip. We got into the Anvil late, but the hosts were very welcoming, and we got dinner right away. Excellent fish and chips. The rooms were lovely, clean and bright. Ours had a view to the fields and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was good, though the coffee could have been a bit stronger for us Americans! We got great advice on where to go and what to see, overall a lovely experience.

We stayed one night at the Anvil in April 2019. The place was very clean and although being above a bar, it was pretty quiet (it was a weekday night) We were greeted warmly and led up to our room. There is no elevator but the stairs are easy and wide. The bed was comfortable/average. The shower and bathroom were a good size and very clean. The pub was fun. Although lots of people there, not lot crowded. Of our week in Ireland, we had the best fish and chips here.

My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary, first time to Ireland for both of us. We had just completed a long day of sightseeing at Ring of Kerry and arrived at The Anvil around 7pm. We had a very good meal in the restaurant, met the owner Stephen, letting him know we were only there for a brief stay, as we had to leave too early for breakfast. He then graciously offered to fix us a breakfast sandwich plate later that evening, which he did, and which was greatly appreciated!
