It was a lovely stay at Ireens place - the breakfast was superb (the selfmade bread was even for us germany very good :D ), the hosts very friendly, nice rooms in a very nice location. Also the hints we got were good - instead of going to the Cliffs of Moher a 2nd time we were encourage to see the Burren National Park - That was totally worth it (if you plan for a short hike, search for Harry's farm!)
We'd gladly come back!

The house sat outside Doolin, up in the hills of Lisdoonvarna. Our room had a queen bed and two singles, along with a dedicated bathroom.
The dining space was bright and cheerful. Breakfast was served from 8 to 10, and we arrived at 8 each morning to make the most of our days. Ireen happily adjusted the full Irish breakfast to my simpler request of two eggs on toast with bacon. Joy chose a different breakfast each morning.
Ireen seemed to speak three or four languages fluently with the other guests from other world areas. She was engaging, knowledgable, and very helpful, steering us to Ennistymon for added sight-seeing, shopping, and eating.
Ireen and Kris ran a certified environmentally conscious operation. A sign in our bathroom asked guests to keep their showers “as long as a song,” and I did my best to honor the request to conserve water, even though I was tempted to hum Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
The quiet setting was perfect after a day of tourism at the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands.

We loved staying here! Ireen was wonderful, so helpful and a very gracious host. The breakfast was excellent, I highly recommend trying ALL their homemade jams and buying some to take home with you! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Convenient location for exploring surrounding areas

Though the room was small we did not miss anything. Ireen is a very kind host, helping with any question. Breakfast was outstanding. Love the homepage Marmelade.
