Our Bed & Breakfast Claí Bán is located in the centre of Kilronan on Inis Mór (Inishmore) Island. We are a 10-minute walk from the harbour and we're a stone throw away from Joe Wattys Bar & Restaurant. The B&B is a family run business, the main proprietor was born and raised here on the island. Claí Bán is known for its prime location, views of Galway Bay and the Clare coast. The island of Inis Mór (Inishmore) meaning the big island, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland.

It is Well known internationally with over 50 different monuments of Christian, pre-Christian and Celtic mythological heritage. There isn’t far you can go before being somewhere where there’s something of historical interest and little reason to question its importance in modern Irish Culture. Ferries to the Aran Islands are available from Rossaveal (leaving Galway city) all year and from Doolin (Cliffs of Moher) from April to October.

My wife and I had a great stay at Claí Bán on Inis Mór. The B&B is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the ferry and near the island's main bars, restaurants, shopping, and grocery store/ATM. Bartley was very nice to let us check into our room when we arrived early on the ferry. His and Marion's hospitality was terrific, and the breakfast was great both mornings. You would be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay on Inis Mór!
