A real irish accomodation! Veronica and James are perfect host, with a welcome tea and snack on arrival, a gorgeous tipical breakfast. Room was cleaned and silent. A very nice stay

Over the last 40 years in traveling to Ireland I’ve never encountered such a beautiful location as Ivy House. But what really made our stay there outstanding was the hospitality offered by Veronica and James. We truly enjoyed their company tremendously, especially our evening chats in their sitting room. I would recommend Ivy House to anyone. It is a great location, but more importantly, Veronica and James are some of the best hosts you will ever meet in Ireland.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Ivy House.James and Veronica were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us.Beautiful setting , very peaceful and tranquil.The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast with lots of different choices. Would definitely return again when next in Galway.

Veronica and James Dempsey are great hosts. They actively look after, and engage with,their guests. The accommodations and breakfasts are first rate. I traveled in late May and early June with two (adult) people who had never been to Ireland, and never stayed at a proper B&B. They were very favorably impressed!

A wonderful stay—clean, beautiful, excellent breakfast, and delightful hosts. If we're ever back this way, we'll be staying at Ivy House.
