Bright & airy luxurious home — cozy, quiet, and just steps from the sea, close to all amenities, shops, trains, buses. 40 minutes from Dublin City, 10 minutes from Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt Waterfall and gardens and 10 minutes from the beautiful Bray Seafront with a wide variety of bars, restaurants and fun beachfront activities.
Bray and its surrounds has also been host to many famous actors and film locations such as, Braveheart, PS I Love You, My Left Foot, Far & Away, The Tudors, Disney's Disenchanted to name but a few. Famous residents of Bray and the area include Bono, Hozier, Eddie Jordan, Sinead O'Connor, Katie Taylor. Oscar WIlde, James Joyce and Arthur Conan Doyle lived here once upon a time, the list goes on...
The Bus stop is located 1 minute from our home and the train station is 10 minutes walking. Buses and trains (D.A.R.T) run regularly to and from Dublin City. Guests are welcome to leave their cars parked at the house to avoid traffic and parking in the City.

Nicki was very friendly, the house was clean, the room nice, the breakfast was very continental, though being asked the evening before, we preferred an Irish one.

We had a nice stay in Bray, Nikki and Niall were great hosts. The driveway to the house was a little bit tricky but with the help of hosts manageable.

Wonderful spot to land after arriving from Canada. Nikki and Niall are great hosts, helpful, and very welcoming. We enjoyed the cliff walks and beach in Bray and jumped on the DART to explore nearby Greystones and of course Dublin.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Niall et Nikki, ils étaient très disponibles et réactifs par message. Leur maison est très soigné et décoré avec goût. Le seul bémol était le petit déjeuner, nous aurions aimé avoir un peu de salé (le vrai irish breakfast!) , mais sinon nous n'avons rien à redire ! Merci pour votre convivialité !

Brennanstown Riding School: Brennanstown Riding School is a family run business and has been offering lessons, trekking and cross country riding for visitors to Wicklow for over 40 years now. The Centre is AIRE, BHS and Failte Ireland approved, located 3km from Bray and 25 km from Dublin on the N11. The school has excellent facilities, including an Indoor School, 3 Outdoor Arenas and cross country course and can provide clients with a selection of well schooled horses and ponies ranging from very quiet animals for novice and nervous riders to those suitable for more experienced and ambitious riders. Brennanstown is open 12 months of the year and offers group and private lessons for all standards catering for both adults and children all given by qualified Instructors. The Centre’s location, at the base of the Sugar Loaf, is ideal for hacking and trekking with absolutely no road work involved and enables Brennanstown to provide cross country rides and treks through some of the most scenic Wicklow countryside. These rides take place through the Hollybrook and Killruddery lands where visitors can experience wonderful views over Dublin Bay in one direction and Glen of the Downs and Wicklow mountains in the other. Children’s Camps are also scheduled during school holiday periods. These provide an ideal way to introduce children to the world of ponies as the camps combine riding lessons with pony care lectures and practicals where they learn about looking after a pony.
For the Adventurer - Bray Head to Greystones Cliff Walk: One of the highlights of walking in Wicklow. This linear walk takes you from Bray to Greystones along the stunning coastal path. The path is well maintained and you can return by light rail (DART) to the start point. Greystones has plenty to offer the hungry walker after beautiful views and a range of marine wildlife. From Bray start, there is a path leading to the top of Bray Head offering stunning views of the Irish Sea, The Wicklow Mountains and Bray. This is a very enjoyable walk in a spectacular coastal setting linking Bray and Greystones. It brings you around the side of Bray Head above the railway line and rocky coastline on a path which is a bit rough in places, with a steep climb at the Bray end. Views both up and down the coast are breath-taking.

Aircoach 702 Dublin Airport to Greystones direct route leaves guests at the Wilton Hotel stop which is 7 mins walk from the house, the Aircoach runs every 2 hours and takes approx. 1 hr 40 mins to Bray.

New ELECTRIC BIKE scheme launching in Spring 2023 - Bray is the perfect location for a shared electric bike scheme. Aside from being a sustainable alternative to car trips, electric bikes can offer a more accessible option for many. They can also assist when tackling some of Bray's hilly stretches. Golf - Bray Golf Club: Bray Golf Club is a magnificent USGA-standard parkland course, set in nearly 200 acres, combining stunning scenery with a classic layout. The course has been in play since 2003 and was designed by Des Smyth (Ryder Cup Vice-Captain) and Declan Brannigan. Described as a striking example of modern design with old style golfing values, Bray provides the perfect environment for all golfers. Spectacular views of the Wicklow Mountains and Killiney Bay are evident throughout the course. The signature hole is the 11th measuring 320 yards from the White Markers. From the tee the views are spectacular as the fairway rises up in front of you winding its way between strategically placed bunkers to meet the tiered green. The backdrop to the hole is the beautiful Killiney Bay with the sea extending from Bray promenade all the way to the village of Dalkey. A comfortable and convivial ambiance is assured in the clubhouse which contains spacious changing facilities and a substantial bar and restaurant. Players are made to feel welcome following their round of golf and they can avail of the extensive menu that will appeal even to the most discerning of palates.
