The park is home to the native red deer and also the Japanese Sika deer which was introduced to the park in the 19th Century. You will get the chance to see wonderful sights such as the Torc Waterfall and have the opportunity to climb up along its side, right up to the summit and see out across the outstanding scenic landscapes. Across the various trails you see delightful fauna and various types of wildlife.

They provide secure storage and drying facilities for your walking equipment. They provide contact details for walking guides and will be able to give you details of pick up locations. They can even provide emergency rain gear. As everyone is aware, the weather in Ireland is changeable, so make sure to bring suitable outdoor clothing.
