What are the hidden gems close to your home?
Knocknarae Mountain -The 327-metre high limestone hill is visually striking, as it stands in a prominent position on the Cúil Irra peninsula between the bays of Sligo and Ballisodare.
Ballisodare Bay - a very rich estuary for wildlife.
Bird Watching - There are many different types of birds around the area to be spotted.
What is your favourite guest story?
There has been a lot of funny moments over the last few years - It’s too hard to choose!
What is your signature dish?
Poached egg with spinach, cream and goats cheese.
Have you ever had any famous guests?
Yes, the poet Seamus Heaney and comedian Brendan Grace has stayed with us.
What is your favourite thing about the area you live in?
Peace and tranquility – The area we live in is peaceful, an unspoilt settling with captivating sunsets.
When you are not looking after your guests what is your favourite thing to do?
Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!!
What are your top 3 attractions in this county?
1. Carrowmore Tombs

3. Yeat’s Grave
