Fern Rock is a unique B&B experience

It is the little touches that make a unique B&B experience and this is where Fern Rock Bed and Breakfast excels! B&B Host Irma, strives to ensure all her guests feel special and is on hand to make sure guests have a great time. She delights in being a 'tourist guide' on the local area for her guests and will even drop/collect guests to/from local restaurants! Irma is also happy to organise golf tee times and bus tours.

Fern Rock is in a wonderful location in Kerry. It’s situated on the famous Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way and just 3km outside of the popular tourist town of Killorglin. The region is bursting with must-see attractions, historical sites and outdoor activities from golfing, hiking and cycling to surfing, kayaking and canoeing. It’s positioned in a scenic and idyllic setting, but is close to everything. Guests will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Fern Rock along with the area’s secluded beaches and picturesque walks.

Best B&B of our holiday, not only because the home, room, breakfast was outstanding, but that Irma was the best host you could imagine. The tips she gave us for touring the Dingle peninsula, and surrounding area turned into some of the highlights of our trip. Without her input, we would have missed so many things. An attentive, bright, fun host for sure. Do not miss this stop.

We spent three lovely, quiet nights at Fern Rock and enjoyed every moment. We chose this place because it was centrally located to many places we wanted to visit, and we chose well beyond that fact Irma is kind, helpful and full of fun. She made us hand-drawn maps each day to guide our daily travels; kept good care of my stuffed penguin; and despite the fact she found it appalling, she burnt my toast for me Our experience was great.
