Ireland's top tourist attractions revealed
The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin City has retained the title of Ireland’s top tourist attraction. Renowned for being the brewery of the famous black stuff, visitors can explore the seven storeys of this building and take part in a variety of interactive experiences to learn more about the pint's fascinating history. All this topped off with a pint at the rooftop Gravity Bar.
The spectacular Cliffs of Moher in County Clare came in as Ireland's second most visited attraction. Located on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the cliffs are one of Ireland’s most famous sights due to the stunning scenery that can be experienced by visitors from the famous clifftops.
Dublin Zoo in Phoenix Park, Dublin came in as the third most popular attraction. With an abundance of various animals from all over the world located here, it is the largest zoo in Ireland and a must-see experience for all the family.
In at Number 4 as most popular attraction in Ireland is The National Aquatic Centre, which happens to be one of the world’s largest indoor water centres.
Last but not least, the fifth most popular attraction is The Book of Kells, which is displayed at the world-renowned Trinity College, Dublin. It is one of the world’s most famous manuscripts comprising of the four Gospels of the New Testament.
