Ireland’s B&B of the Year
Congratulations to Springview B&B, Urlingford, County Kilkenny which has been awarded the accolade of B&B Ireland’s ‘B&B of the Year’. This is an amazing achievement for B&B host, Eileen, and recognises the care and dedication that has been shown to her guests on a continuous basis. Springview B&B was announced as the winner at B&B Ireland’s AGM in Dublin and Eileen was presented with a stunning crystal vase, sponsored by world renowned House of Waterford Crystal.
The ‘B&B of the Year’ award was based on reviews provided by guests who had booked and stayed in B&B Ireland properties during 2016. An independent ajudicator, Charlie Boyle, from Customer Service Excellence Ireland, selected Springview B&B as the overall winner from nine amazing properties which had reached the finals and he stated:
‘'Choosing a winner was never going to be an easy task based on the positive comments received by the finalists involved. In all truth, any one of the nine we looked at could have won. In the end, we decided that the Joyce family and Springview House were the winners based on the depth and length of the praise given by those guests who took time to comment on their stay. Springview House epitomizes all that is within the core values of an excellent Irish Bed and Breakfast...and then some more that they add themselves in a most warm and hospitable way."
B&B Ireland wanted to recognize the hard work, dedication and commitment of its bed and breakfast homes and stated:
"We are delighted to acknowledge the fantastic work our Bed & Breakfasts do every year. The reviews they receive is testament to the exceptional service and experience they are delivering to their guests" - Helena Healy, CEO of B&B Ireland.
Well done to all the B&B finalists, who are all winners when it comes to providing an excellent B&B experience, where Irish hospitality is at the heart of every guests stay.
