August B&B Guest Reviews
Accommodation reviews are so important these days when booking a trip away. They give you the perfect insight into what you can expect and look forward to when travelling to Ireland. Check out our B&B's guest reviews that stood out this August.
Cnoc A Duin, Bantry, Co. Cork
Irene was a lovely hostess! We were welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits. We had two rooms and they were both lovely. My husband and I had the downstairs room that overlooked the beautiful garden. The room was equipped with every amenity needed - makeup wipes was a nice item! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Cnoc a Duin was our first B & B in Ireland and it was our favorite!

Lake Avenue House, Cavan, Co. Cavan
Simply gorgeous! We used the Lake Avenue House B&B for a stop-over on our way to the northwest. If we would have known in advance the particular charm of the lovingly furnished rooms in a stylish family house, the beauty of the local environment and - last but not least - the excellent breakfast, we would have probably stayed for a few more days ... However, all this was topped by our exceptionally caring and friendly host Catheríne, who even offered to give us a return ride to the next pub, when we arrived tired from the journey. A very special "Thank you!", Catherine, for having us! Given the opportunity, we will for sure come back. This place is highly(!) recommended.

Mena House, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny
Mena House was the best Bed and Breakfast we stayed at! We had just got in a 5am and needed a rest desperately. We got to Mena house at 11am and Katherine was so sweet in getting it together for us in 30 minutes. While we were waiting Katherine gave us a map and let us know of some things we could go and do after our nap. Her suggestions were PERFECT! A beautiful scenic walk to the Kilkenny Castle, to a great pub to eat at. And can I say it was the best breakfast in the morning. This is the bed and breakfast to stay at. If you can make it a point to get here!

Eaglehill B&B, Co. Kildare
Eaglehill B&B is a lovely, tranquil farmhouse, away from the big tourist crowds but near Kildare Town. At the end of our vacation, we unfortunately had only two nights to stay at Eaglehill but Julie and her family were incredibly friendly hosts and made us feel like at home. We had a wonderful, clean and comfortable family room consisting of two separate rooms. Julie’s daughter Martha took time to show us all the farm, the sheep, the chickens, the donkey and the dog. Our kids had a lot of fun. Julie’s Irish breakfast was fabulous and prepared with much love. Unfortunately we missed breakfast on Sunday because we had to leave early at 5am for the airport. Anyway, now we have a reason to come back. Many thanks for the great time we had with you! Best wishes from Switzerland.

Bearna Rua B&B, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin
Elizabeth was so gracious! Our one night stay was brief, and we had an early flight, but she made sure we were nourished for our long journey. Beautiful home!
