Grey Gables Farmhouse, the way to a person’s heart

Grey Gables Farmhouse, Kinsale in Co Cork along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way

Janet Quin, Grey Gables FarmhouseWell the saying is... “the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach!” Here at Grey Gables Farmhouse B&B I aim to do just that. I love to be creative with food. Breakfasts consist of many varied dishes. I notice that one of my guests' favourites is my fresh scones or breakfast muffins which I rise early to cook whilst everyone is still sleeping. Also served is home-made brown bread.

Grey Gables Farmhouse the way to a person’s heartDishes to delight

The varied dishes are anything from the traditional Irish breakfast to omelette, with varied fillings, poached egg with bacon, waffles served with either fresh fruit or bacon and maple syrup, scotch pancakes with apple and maple syrup. I make delicious gluten free strawberry scotch pancakes, and I have no problem catering for anyone’s dietary needs, whatever they may be. Book a stay at Grey Gables Farmhouse to taste and see the variety of delicious food. I will serve you a king's breakfast and set you up for the day to see all the beautiful sights of Kinsale to West Cork and beyond!

50 years in business

We will be celebrating 50 years as a B&B in 2020 welcoming guests from all over the world to Grey Gables Farmhouse. Along with my passion for good food I also want each guest who stays to really have a memorable time with us, to enjoy the beautiful country setting, the birdsong early in the morning, the wonderful views and the tranquillity that is Grey Gables. Having lived in the area I am confident that I can recommend some of the most beautiful places to see, from Spike Island, The Titanic Experience in Cobh to Cork City and all its attractions to the quaint town of Kinsale and all its wonderful places to eat and enjoy.

Grey Gables Farmhouse, the way to your heart

I look forward to warmly welcoming you to Grey Gables Farmhouse.
