Rossroe Lodge

Cashel Connemara, Galway

We absolutely love Rossroe Lodge and the scenery of Connemara! This was our second trip to Ireland and we made it a top priority to stay here - the only B&B we returned to on our second trip! Mary and Sylvain are wonderful hosts and serve delicious breakfasts and provide great resources for nearby walks/hikes. We hiked Errisbeg Mountain in Roundstone and it was an amazing experience - sheep all around as we hiked and the views were unbelievable! Highly recommend everything here! We will be back!!  Reviewed by : Kristin Lockwood

Springview House

Urlingford, Kilkenny

Our host, Eileen, welcomed us to Springview house with delicious tea, coffee, and homemade scones. Her bed and breakfast is in a beautiful but updated 19th century home. She made us feel very welcome. Her advice on what to see in the local area was very helpful. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We were served a delicious Irish breakfast on fine vintage china in a tastefully decorated breakfast room. We give our highest recommendation to the Springview house. It was one of the best places we stayed at in Ireland.  Reviewed by: Elisa, Chet, Evelyne and Heidi

Park Lodge

Noreen and Tom were the most gracious hosts along with Walter. We loved our stay. The home was welcoming, the breakfast was great. We enjoyed our conversations, and loved their recommendations on what to see and do. Loved meeting their family and just talking with them was genuine. Absolutely enjoyed our time here. Their gardens were beautiful.  Reviewed by: Dawn Batzel

The Old Schoolhouse Inn

Comber Newtownards, Down

Even though our visit was cut short by a cancelled flight we were very happy with our stay with Avril. Avril made an amazing traditional Irish breakfast, that kept us full for the whole day. Avril was very helpful with information about the area and helped us to get to where we needed to go. I would definitely stay there again. Reviewed by: Barbara Hughes

Dromagowlane House

Adrigole, Cork

This was our favorite stay on our trip. The property was beautiful and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, and Ahrlene helped us reserve a table at the Wild Atlantic Bar down the street. It was nice to be able to walk to dinner after a day of driving. We would certainly stay here again!  Reviewed by: Katrina Devine

Ard-Cill

Swords Airport, Dublin

Fantastic Irish welcome from Carmel. Lovely room with a balcony, plenty of hot water after a day on the motorbike. As we had no car Carmel kindly ran us to & picked us up from her recommended eating house Cox's Steakhouse in Drumod ( highly recommended ! ) Breakfast was brilliant, would definitely recommend.  Reviewed by: Martin & Jill

Glasha

Ballymacarbry, Waterford

This was a luxury experience at a B&B. Olive provides a very gracious home. The pictures don't even do it justice. The breakfast was gourmet. A wonderful assortment of fresh fruits to start the morning, and then followed by a delicious assortment of entree choices--including smoke salmon and eggs. Our room decor was lovely and the bed linens were heavenly. The room was very well equipped and I loved being able to brew a cup of tea in the room. Olive was very helpful with suggestions of sights to see. We couldn't begin to take them all in with just a two night stay. The rolling countryside, dotted by the beautiful Holstein cows, made this a very special location.  Reviewed by: Arlene Kraft

Dulrush Fishing Lodge

Belleek, Fermanagh

We stayed a night in a beautiful, huge room at the end of the main of the house. Dulrush was for us a comfortable, eclectic, generous and warm place to rest on a long, complicated road trip. Bridie is an excellent host, full of stories and good advice. And she cooks a great breakfast. A highly recommended place to stay near, but just off, the beaten track.  Reviewed by: Edward O'Loughlin
