B&B Ireland July Guest Reviews

You just can't beat the island of Ireland in the summer so why not consider choosing to stay in an Irish B&B to experience it. B&B hosts continue to showcase the true meaning of Irish hospitality. Check out these July reviews to see what guests have said about their stays in  B&Bs across the island.

Fortfield Farm

Kilrush, Clare

This is a great find! We had 3 rooms for our 1 night stay. Brid had tea and muffins for us upon our arrival. We enjoyed all the animals and quiet stay. We stayed up and played cards in the open room. What a great view! The couple is very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. This was one of our favorite stays in Ireland! They gave some great recommendations for places to eat and horseback riding. This is a 10/10. Book here if you want a relaxing time. Be careful not to follow the GPS. The roads are very narrow if you do.     Lora

Brandon View House

Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny

Fantastic B&B! We only stayed one night but we loved the place! Wonderful views, wonderful breakfast, very comfortable rooms and, most of all, Helen's attention. She was very helpful when we needed to arrive late, she was very nice and gave us great advices for visiting the area!     Inés De la Cruz

The Heron's Cove

Goleen, Cork

The Heron's Cove was beautiful. It had an amazing water view and it was peaceful. We had a delicious dinner as well as a yummy breakfast here. The rooms were comfortable. Irene was a great chef. We loved talking with Irene as we were heading out, sharing stories of her adventures in the US while suggesting fun things for us to do in Ireland. We hope to go back one day!     Lori Bergeron

Cillcearn House

Killarney, Kerry

Tom and his wife were fantastic, warm, and welcoming hosts with great knowledge of the area. They were VERY responsive to my emails before our arrival and very nice about us coming in late the first night. Of ALL the wonderful days we had in Ireland the 3 days there were the best! The Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park were AWESOME! I wish we had more time there! Our full Irish breakfast was made to order and great! We'd stay there any time!     Steve Beard

The Arches

Arva, Cavan

We were traveling through Ireland, lodging at a half dozen B&B's. The Arches provided everything we were looking for---The hosts were exceptional. The landscaping was exquisite. We were looking for a rural setting and The Arches was classic rural. We cannot say enough about our stay. Thank you for a memorable get away     Alan and Therese Hamel

Woodlands

Oughterard Connemara, Galway

My husband & I loved Staying with Barbara! She & her husband were so lively & fun, & had lots of great ideas of what to see/do in the area. And the B&B was amazing! Such a gorgeous home, near the downtown area of Oughterard, & not too far from Galway, or other lovely sights. And Max! Their lovely dog, Max, was always there to welcome us when we returned from our day's trek, & also to say "goodbye" when we left. It really was like staying with an old family friend. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Big hug, Barbara! :o     Alyx Morgan

Arkle House

Derry-Londonderry

The Arkle House is a gem and a great location! This charming home and grounds are a beautiful & relaxing oasis in Derry. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and comfortable. The food offerings were fresh and delicious. Margaret was attentive and efficient. Sally and Terry were excellent hosts. On our last day, our cousins paid a surprised visit and our host graciously extended coffee and tea well beyond the normal times. As it turned out, they went to the same schools as our cousin had attended. I look forward to our return to Arkle House.     Tom & Karen Harvey
