B&B host Catherine

B&B Host, Catherine of Corrigan's Shore House B&B, EnniskillenCatherine says ‘I remember how nervous I was when I welcomed my first guest back in 1997. It’s hard to believe 25 years have passed so quickly and now I have greeted visitors from all across the world including the Netherlands, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia! Many return to stay with me time and again.’

‘As well as providing information to my guests in relation to my local area and sharing my knowledge and stories of Fermanagh, I also love to hear about where my guests are from and what adventures they have enjoyed before arriving at Shore House.’

‘I love welcoming guests and ensuring that they have the best experience while staying with me. Yes, there have been challenging times over the years, but I feel the personal service every guest receives from the minute they arrive helped me stay in business for 25 years and has been the secret to the success of my B&B.  I want my guests to enjoy an authentic Irish experience that will create great memories to last a life time.’

Guest Reviews

Located only 12km from Enniskillen, Shore House is in an idyllic location with wonderful views of the Lough Erne Waterways and is surrounded by tranquil green pastures of County Fermanagh. There is a wealth of things to see and do in this stunning location. Below are a few reviews from guests who have stayed with Catherine…

Nancy Jenkins: A wonderful guest retreat! Catherine was so sweet and welcoming... We had treats waiting, and she even carried my suitcase up the stairs for me... The room and bath were spotless and very inviting and comfortable. The location on the waterway is just beautiful, and if you are lucky, Nellie will greet you as you arrive! Breakfast was exceptional. Catherine had the cold foods ready with delicious homemade jams... and she cooked our breakfast requests to order... everything was just perfect! She also helped us with directions as we were meeting some family that evening for dinner. All in all, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay with all needs anticipated and filled... Thank you, Catherine, for making us feel so welcome!

Brian Cook: Great Accommodation, Very quiet and peaceful location. Very Friendly and helpful and Great Breakfasts. It was a real joy to stay there.

Wanda Arrowood: Corrigan Shore House was a beautiful place to stay with a luxurious bedroom and a spacious en suite bathroom. The host served us tea when we arrived and next morning the best breakfast we had the whole time in Ireland. The B&B is located on the edge of a lake with beautiful rural vistas.
