September B&B Guest Reviews

There’s no better way to demonstrate what makes an Irish B&B stay such a memorable experience than to highlight the type of wonderful guest reviews our B&B hosts achieve time and again. Check out what guests have to say about their B&B experience in a selection of B&B Ireland's September reviews below:

Cullentra House

Cushendall, Antrim

Our stay at Cullintra House was wonderful. This was our second trip to Ireland and to Cullentra House. Our hosts were just wonderful this time as well as the first time. They were very hospitable and warm. We had a lot of wonderful conversations. Our room was wonderful, clean and fresh. We stayed at Cullentra House for two nights this time. We can't say enough about how great the food was and the many options for breakfast. The homemade baked goods, banana bread, carrot cake, scones were delicious. Our hosts as usual were helpful and gave wonderful suggestions of places to visit and places to eat dinner. The views from the house are just breath taking.

Lis-Ardagh Lodge

Union Hall, Cork

This B&B was hands down my favorite (we stayed in 4 different B&B’s). The bedroom was bright and spacious, the bathroom modern and huge and the breakfast superb! The property has beautiful views and gardens and is just a short walk downhill into the little fishing village of Union Hall. We enjoy the “less touristy areas” when we travel and the small villages in West Cork fit the bill. Jim and Carol are both lovely hosts. Jim gave us apples from his beautiful apple orchard; I very much enjoyed chatting with him! Should you be in this part of Ireland I would highly recommend staying at Lis-Ardagh. I hope to return one day! (PS-we visited Dintys Pub twice and had a terrific meal both times).

Gallow's View

Bunratty, Clare

Mary …. You are the best. She are sure there were washcloths and plenty of ice. She did this without being asked. She was intuitively looking for any way to make our stay wonderful. The French toast is to die for!!! She even let us go out and play with her dog. We were missing ours . She is kind and most gracious. We didn’t want to leave!

The Western Way

Oughterard Connemara, Galway

If you are visiting the Connemara the Western Way is the place to stay! Edwina was a great host. She was a very well guide to elaborate our planning of visits. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was perfect bright, quiet and clean. We stayed un extra night in addition to what we had planned. Remy and me hope to see you again one day!

Inveraray Farm

Killarney, Kerry

We had a terrific stay here on a family vacation. The hosts were delightful with local suggestions, logistics, and allowing us to share their home. The location was well suited for us, though all situations are unique (in particular, we did not drive the ring of Kerry and I can't comment on that but have no reason to expect it would not be a fine base for that route), but we had an easy drive from here up to Dingle and access to the really breath-taking Gap of Dunloe, and everything around Lough Leane.

The Heron's Cove

Goleen, Cork

I stayed in Herons Cove this past June and really loved it so brought two friends back down on a cycling holiday for a few nights in September and had a whale of a time. We ate in EVERY night because the food was pure class and the staff are just so lovely. My room is looking over the cove and just magical . Thank you so much Irene, Bridie and staff x
