Sea Crest Farmhouse B&B

Quilty, Clare

Great place to stay ! Angela and Kevin were very accommodating and there B&B was perfect. We were undecided which view was the best. One overlooking the coastline and the ocean or the other direction looking at the beautiful fields that make you image the perfect view of Ireland. The farm fresh eggs for breakfast were special and the donkeys were quite entertaining as we fed them. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The Vandees

Craigavon, Armagh

We am still talking about the Vandees even though we have been home over a month. The house was gorgeous and so were Noreen and JP. They greeted us at our car and welcomed us immediately into their home. The breakfasts were exceptional and the room was so beautiful and so comfortable. I felt like I was staying in a home with people I had known all my life. We had great conversation with them when we came in from supper one night and shared a couple of bottles of wine. It was so memorable to us and we would recommend this to ANYONE traveling to Northern Ireland. It was definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed. 100 stars!!!

Tir Na Nog

Cashel, Tipperary

We loved our stay at Tir Na Nog with Tommy! He was an exceptional host and made our first couple of days in Ireland perfect. He welcomed us with open arms, great coffee and amazing breakfast! Our room was immaculate and comfy. His help, Angie helped us to get our phone situation straightened out and was such a kind person! We will be back for sure!!

Sea Breeze

Cahersiveen, Kerry

It was a delight to stay at Seabreeze with Tom and Eilis. The entire accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was generous with a selection of freshly cooked options prepared to order. The location is great, I had a view of the Iveragh Peninsula in a warm, tidy and functional room. The surrounds are quiet without any noticeable volume of traffic - it felt like there were more people on foot than cars. From the house it was only 2-3 minutes to a trailhead of the Bentee Loop Walk that will provide stunning views with very little effort. As a base for the Ring of Kerry and surrounds, I feel Seabreeze in Cahersiveen is an excellent option and I would recommend and hope to return to with my family.

River Walk House

Oughterard Connemara, Galway

We enjoyed our stay at River Walk. Lovely home, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, the sweetest hostess who gave us good advice on places to visit. Loved our walk into town and Powell’s Pub. This home is convenient for day trips to Galway, Clifton, the Connemara. We would absolutely recommend staying here! 10 stars

Slieve Elva B&B

Lisdoonvarna, Clare

This location provides access to Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and one hour along a coastal route into Galway. Irene and Kris have received certification as an Ecotourism site. With 6 rooms, it would be a great site for an extended family traveling together or a small group traveling by van. It is not within walking distance of Lisdoonvarna. The guidebooks do not do Lisdoonvarna justice—it is known for its spas and there are a few excellent restaurants (a brewery with an exceptional restaurant). In Doolin there is a Price-fixed restaurant (which Irene recommended) which in February, 2024, after 10 months in existence, earned a Michelin Star. Irene speaks 4 languages, which is a real advantage for travelers from non-English speaking countries.
