The B&B Experience

What is the B&B experience? Well, the answer to this question is never the same for two people as bed and breakfast accommodation gives each guest a unique experience that’s special to them for different reasons. A stay in an Irish B&B creates fond memories that will last forever, making you want to return as soon as you have left! The B&B experience always guarantees three unbeatable things: hospitality, serenity and authenticity.

Hospitality

A warm welcom awaits you when you stay in an Irish b and b in IrelandOne of the key aspects of Irish bed and breakfasts that make them so special is that of their hosts. These are the people who welcome you into their homes as if you are family and make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Irish hosts are renowned for their warm welcome, with the option of tea/coffee and freshly baked treats on your arrival. They have the inside knowledge on the local area and are always more than happy to answer any questions and offer advice on the best things to see and do. Their delicious breakfasts served after a comfortable night’s sleep are always something to look forward to as well!  Nothing is ever considered too much, as a host’s main priority is undoubtedly their guests. When leaving an Irish B&B, you will feel as though you have made a firm friend in your host.

Serenity

You'll enjoy peace and tranquility in an Irish b&b in IrelandBed and breakfast accommodation in Ireland is situated in ideal locations, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Staying in a B&B provides the perfect opportunity to take a breather and have some you-time. Comfort, luxury and relaxation come to mind, as homes really are a haven of peace and tranquility. Think lounging in the conservatory on a fresh sunny day or cosying up beside the fireplace in the evening and you have what the B&B experience is all about – simple enjoyable things that you never normally have the time to do.

Authenticity

Chat with the local when you stay in a bed and breakfast in IrelandStaying in a B&B has something that no other type of accommodation has to offer – the authentic Irish experience. Bed and breakfasts in Ireland give you a true insight into the culture and traditions of everyday life. You get to experience life with an Irish family and get a taste of what the famous ‘craic’ is all about! By visiting the attractions in the area, attending a trad music session in the pub or simply having a chat with some of the locals, you won’t be able to resist the Irish charm. Before your stay is over, you will have fallen in love with everything Ireland has to offer and will consider it a home away from home!

Ireland has so many different types of B&Bs, including Walker’s Welcome, town or country homes and farmstay accommodation. Whichever one you choose, you will be guaranteed a fantastic stay and you will have your own answer to what the B&B experience is all about!

Danabel Porridge Bread Recipe

I started making my Porridge Bread about a year ago. It was so popular with guests that I carried on making it. Now, I make it everyday and leave it on the breakfast table for my guests to help themselves. I am always complimented on how tasty it is. The wonderful thing about this recipe is that it is so easy to prepare, yet so delicious!
