Ireland’s top 10 attractions

With travel paused, I thought a few photos of Ireland’s top attractions would lift our spirits and give inspiration for when we can hit the travel button once again. So here we go, Ireland’s top attractions…let’s see if you agree.  #Staysafe

1. Cliffs of Moher, Co Clare

The Cliffs of Moher is Ireland’s most visited natural attraction. Located in Co Clare, the breath-taking cliffs stretch for 8km along Clare’s coast on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. 👇

2. Guinness Storehouse, Dublin

The Guinness Storehouse, located in Dublin, is the brewery of the famous black stuff. Visitors can explore the seven storeys of this building and learn more about the pint's fascinating history. 👇

3. Glendalough, Co Wicklow

Glendalough in Co Wicklow is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. Part of Ireland’s Ancient East, the famous site is located in the stunning Wicklow Mountains National Park. 👇

4. Giant’s Causeway, Co Antrim

The Giant’s Causeway is a UNESCO world heritage site in Co Antrim. The unique 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and the region's natural beauty will take your breath away. 👇

5. Dublin Zoo, Dublin

Dublin Zoo, located in Phoenix Park, is home to an abundance of various animals from all over the world. It is the largest and most impressive zoo in Ireland. 👇

6. Tayto Park, Co Meath

7. Newgrange, Co Meath

Newgrange in Co Meath is a 5,200 year old passage tomb that was built by Stone Age farmers in the Boyne Valley. It is a World Heritage Site, strikingly impressive and older than the Pyramids. 👇

8. Bunratty Castle, Co Clare

Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is a chance to delve into Ireland’s past. The park is set on 26 acres featuring farms, shops and streets recreated as they would have been over a century ago. 👇

9. Slieve League, Co Donegal

Slieve League (Irish: Sliabh Liag) in Co Donegal boasts some of the highest and most impressive marine cliffs in Europe. The views across the Atlantic Ocean are outstanding. 👇

10. Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin

Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin is now a museum and is one of the largest unoccupied gaols (jails) in Europe. It has held some of the most famous political and military leaders in Irish history. 👇
