Staying at a Farmstay B&B

Ever dreamt of waking up at an enchanting farm house in the Irish Countryside?

You can't get more authentically Irish, than experiencing life on a farm. Located through-out Ireland, these old style farm houses are an ideal venue for getting back to nature. Wake up to the crow of the rooster, collect freshly-laid breakfast eggs, explore the different animals on the farm or simply wander through the rolling pastures.

Your B&B host will be there to guide you every step of the way. Learn about life on a farm and enjoy the fabulous food on offer. As you rise from your cosy bed, take a stroll through the farm before tucking into your freshly made Irish breakfast.

Reviews from those who have experienced a B&B Ireland farmstay:

We highly recommend it to everyone. We enjoyed the great Irish breakfast and we loved being around the horses, sheep, emu, bunnies, and other animals. Kate & Mike

We had a wonderful stay at a farmhouse in Ireland. The family were warm and welcoming, the food wonderful and the accommodations excellent.  The grandchildren enjoyed the farm animals, a fabulous experience for them. Norma

The animals welcome you upon your entrance to the parkway, it was a wonderful experience, highly recommend it. Sam

At West Coast House B&B you can taste Achill Island Smoked Salmon

When you stay at West Coast House on Achill Island in County Mayo, you will have the opportunity to taste the island’s delicacy of smoked salmon.  The salmon is reared in pristine waters off Clare Island/Achill and is prepared and oak smoked at Keem Bay Fish Products, which is just 0.4km from our bed and breakfast.

Danabel Porridge Bread Recipe

I started making my Porridge Bread about a year ago. It was so popular with guests that I carried on making it. Now, I make it everyday and leave it on the breakfast table for my guests to help themselves. I am always complimented on how tasty it is. The wonderful thing about this recipe is that it is so easy to prepare, yet so delicious!
