The Kingdom of Kerry - Breathtaking Landscapes

Kerry is one of the most scenic counties in Ireland. It’s beautifully positioned on the rugged Atlantic coastline, with some of the highest mountains in Ireland plus many beautiful peninsulas and sandy beaches all topped off with a few magical Islands just off the coast.

Kerry – The Kingdom

Kerry is one of Ireland’s most dramatic scenic locations. The world famous Ring of Kerry that stretches for 179km around the Iveragh Peninsula, plus, the world renowned Lakes of Killarney and Killarney National Park, the Dingle and Beara peninsulas, the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks range and the Slieve Mish range all offer some of the dramatic scenery and beautiful places to visit.

Kerry has the most natural landscape to suit any of your preferred outdoor activities. From walking to golfing, surfing, adventure, angling or even deep sea diving there is something for everyone! With so much to see and do it’s a top spot to visit.

And if that wasn’t enough just off the coast of Kerry there are a number of stunning Islands – Blasket Islands, with its ancient monastery and incredible bird-watching, Beginish Island, Valentia Island and Skellig Islands most famous for an amazing monastery ruin.

However, if you don’t fancy anything too energetic you can do some leisurely sightseeing and relax in one of the many cosy pubs. Kerry is a magical place with some of the most welcoming people you’ll ever meet.

While touring the County you can stay in one of our many Kerry B&Bs.  You can expect a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, great service, delicious and freshly prepared home-cooked food, and best of all, a chance to mix with a real Irish family.
