Lough Owel Lodge - Mullingar, Westmeath

This place is amazing. The hostess was very well organized and super friendly (not to mention a great cook)! She even gave us one of her recipes. The room we stayed in was fabulous with a super comfortable bed.

Ashfield House - Cong Connemara, Mayo

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the Cong area. Christina was very helpful in finding us a place to eat dinner when we arrived late after our drive from Kilkenny. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend staying here.

At West Coast House B&B you can taste Achill Island Smoked Salmon

When you stay at West Coast House on Achill Island in County Mayo, you will have the opportunity to taste the island’s delicacy of smoked salmon.  The salmon is reared in pristine waters off Clare Island/Achill and is prepared and oak smoked at Keem Bay Fish Products, which is just 0.4km from our bed and breakfast.

Danabel Porridge Bread Recipe

I started making my Porridge Bread about a year ago. It was so popular with guests that I carried on making it. Now, I make it everyday and leave it on the breakfast table for my guests to help themselves. I am always complimented on how tasty it is. The wonderful thing about this recipe is that it is so easy to prepare, yet so delicious!
