Food Lovers Breaks in Ireland

As a nation of food lovers, we Irish have come to expect only the best in Irish cuisine and fine dining. Visit any county in Ireland and you will be met with an array of restaurants, cafés and pubs that produce delicious dishes that will satisfy the most fussy of taste-buds.

Food Lovers Bed and Breakfasts

If you are a food lover yourself and are planning a trip to Ireland, then may I suggest you experience a stay in a Food Lovers Welcome B&B. These homes are run by B&B hosts who have a passion for food and want to share this experience with their guests. You will enjoy sumptuous meals that have been lovingly prepared using only the finest of locally sourced produce and home-grown ingredients. Hosts will delight you with traditional cooking demonstrations, food tasting and even provide you will recipes that you can try out yourself at home! They’ll be happy to provide information on local restaurants, food markets and food festivals and will organise a tour around their farm or a local food producing farm as part of your stay.

Full Irish Breakfast

A food lover’s break to Ireland will provide you with comfort, relaxation and best of all, superb home-cooked food! The full Irish breakfast is a B&B speciality, consisting of bacon, sausage, black and white pudding, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, potato bread, with a choice of Irish soda or brown bread and a hot cup of tea/coffee. You will have to try this breakfast at least once on your visit to Ireland. If the full Irish isn’t for you, don’t worry, B&B homes will have a selection of breakfast choices ranging from scrabble egg and smoked salmon or homemade pancakes to a continental breakfast.
