Kerry boasts some of the most stunning coastal scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way. They discovered tourism in Kerry, did you know that? It all started with a visit by Queen Victoria in 1861, which was widely reported and photographed by the media, such as it was at the time.

Kerry is one of the most scenic counties in Ireland. It’s beautifully positioned on the rugged Atlantic coastline, with some of the highest mountains in Ireland plus many beautiful peninsulas and sandy beaches all topped off with a few magical Islands just off the coast.

Valentia Island embodies all of the main features of the Wild Atlantic Way in one neat and seriously picturesque package. Just off the Ring of Kerry, it can be reached by bridge or by ferry.Valentia Island is home to Cromwell's lighthouse Geokaun Mountain and Tetrapod walkway.
