St Patrick’s Day Celebrations were nearly as big as Christmas when I was growing up. Maybe it was because we were living in England at the time and it seemed so important to celebrate our Irish heritage.

The world turned an emerald green yesterday as the St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations went global. Streets were occupied with tri-colours and Irish songs were sung from New York to Sydney. In Ireland, people lined the streets to attend parades throughout the country while an estimated half a million turned out for the famous Dublin parade.
