Galway Food Festival

The annual Galway Food Festival is running from the 6th  – 10th April which falls nicely over Ireland’s Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Even more events have been included in this year’s programme which will surely position Galway as the food capital of the Wild Atlantic Way!

All the past favourites will be returning for this year’s festival including the open air markets, food trails and heaps of family fun. There’ll be talks, food demonstrations and workshops involving over 100 restaurants, food outlets and food producers across the city and county.

Fun Food Tours!

Festival organisers want visitors to have an amazing experience and therefore have included lots of new and exciting additions to the Galway Food Festival programme. There’ll be extended food trails, cooking demonstrations and really fun food tours including trips out to the beautiful Aran Islands, the famous Burren, visits to farms, food producers and craft brewers. As you can see, there’s an excursion to suit everyone’s interests!

A Celebration of Food

The Galway Food Festival is a celebration of food, a chance to experience new cuisine and have fun at the same time. They’ll be an array of in-house events including cocktail classes, wine tasting and food and drink talks.
