How to get here

The house is 700m from M1 motorway, east of the N1/N52 dual carriageway.

From Dublin city/Dublin Airport: Take the M1, leave the motorway at exit 16 for Dundalk South/Ardee N52 interchange. From the roundabout take the Dundalk exit and on this carriageway you will approach traffic lights. About 20m before these lights, turn left and immediately right following the signs for Haynestown. This will enable you to cross over the dual carriageway. From here you continue to follow the signs for Haynestown, 150m by the garden centre over a narrow railway bridge, left 200m and the house is the second on the left. From Dundalk follow signs for M1 turn left at the traffic lights after Xerox.

Teresa was a very welcoming hostess. She provided my sister, husband and I with an ensuite room that gave us comfort and privacy. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining area. We had arrived late, after a long drive and went to Blackrock for Chinese take away. Teresa stayed up and provided an area for us to eat in her dining room. This was especially appreciated by us all; thank you Teresa.

We had a lovely stay at Heritage House on our way to Northern Ireland. The bedroom was the largest and most comfortable of any bed and breakfast we'd stayed in that week. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast. This is a beautiful area, and the medieval town of Carlingford (recommended by the hosts) was well worth a stop en route to Belfast.

A delightful stay. Even though we were only there one night, Mrs Byrne got up early to make us an Irish breakfast so that we could get to Northern Ireland by 8:00am. It was like being with Mum.
