My partner and I stayed here for a friend's wedding. Very kindly, Susan and Des offered us a free lift to the venue both on the day of the wedding and the day after. We couldn't have been happier with the very friendly service - top marks!

The room was excellent as were our hosts, the location and the breakfast they served. Would definitely return if we need to overnight in the Waterford area

We stayed at Samuel's Heritage in May, 2017 for three nights. The accommodations, breakfasts and hospitality were outstanding. Susan and Des were terrific hosts. The room was huge with lots of little details attended to. Breakfast had quality and quantity. We like the location - in the country with a beautiful river view but just a few minutes from Waterford.

Our first stop on our trip to Ireland and what a wonderful place to begin! Our room was clean and comfortable, seemed to have a bit of a Scandinavian feel. The sitting room at the front of the home was very welcoming with tea and coffee, microwave and fridge so we could warm up convenience store snacks since our late arrival made it impossible to find a place for supper. The highlight of our stay was our introduction to Irish breakfasts, which were explained and cooked by Des, who is so pleasant and accommodating; the scones were Natalies favourite in all of Ireland, warm and fresh out of the oven. Des was very helpful in directing us where to go and what to see in Waterford; made Waterford a very pleasant experience! Samuel's Heritage set the bar high for the rest of the trip - one of our favourites!

Samuel's Heritage was excellent! The rooms were immaculate, and the food was exceptional! The gardens were so gorgeous that they are some of my family's favorite photos of our trip. The view from the front of the B and B is the best one in Waterford, and the host Desmond gave us excellent recommendations for our trip that we used throughout the week we explored Ireland. He even had a gym available, which was a luxury unique to his B and B that I was very grateful for! I'd recommend a stay here to anyone!
