Was a real pleasure for my wife and I to stay with Margaret on our recent trip to Ireland. Would happily recommend QuarryTown Lodge to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

This is a lovely place in a quiet area and Margaret was a very pleasant host. The breakfast was very good and there were a few options for dinner within a short drive. The ability to pay with a credit card would be extremely helpful

We and the couple traveling with us had a very enjoyable one night stay at Quarrytown Lodge. Margaret was a lovely hostess who offered tea and a wonderful bread upon our arrival and a very sumptuous breakfast in the morning. The room, although small, was very comfortable with a view out over the well maintained front yard and the flat screen tv had a lot of channels compared to other B&Bs we stayed in on this trip.

The house's outside it's better then inside. Breakfast was good and Margaret very kind. Unfortunately the WC of our room doesn't work very well and one towel had three big holes. Also the bed wasn't so comofortable.

Host's Reply:
Francesca, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I was very pleased that you enjoyed my breakfast. I was disappointed to read that you had trouble with the WC, apologies for this. I checked it after I received your review and all seems to be in working order. Regarding the towels, we don’t own any towels with holes so was surprised to read this comment.
