We only stayed one night on the last night of our trip. Clean and comfortable room, breakfast was good, and the hostess was helpful. However, parking was a challenge, as was the key to the front door. The site by the side of a major roadway left no place to walk safely, and the noise of the road could be heard throughout the night if we left a window open. There is a bit of a drive to Athlone.

Carmel and Sean are very welcoming, nice and gentle hosts.
The bed&breakfast is in the typical, traditional Irish style with his furnishment and I like it very much.
The breakfast is very good and enough also for lunch and dinner too: indeed after eated it, I don't need to eat anymore for all day!
Lastly, when I checked out, Sean picked up by his car until Athlone city centre with my luggage and bags! Great!

The location is great for visiting Athlone and nearby Tullamore DEW distillery. Breakfast was great. Carmel is a wonderful hostess and very helpful recommending places to visit.
