Sitting at the foot of Carrauntoohil with magnificent views of the Caragh River, Lickeed Wood and McGillycuddy Reeks, Blackstones House offers a slice of County Kerry’s famed wild surroundings. As well as 4-star rated hospitality, guests can enjoy a day’s fishing, boat trips on Caragh Lake and take on the Kerry Way walking route, one of Ireland’s longest signposted walking trails. Off the beaten path and just beautiful! The adjacent river was peaceful to listen to, and Breda's dog was the best companion. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Breda went out of her way to make us comfortable. We spent two nights and wish it could have been more.

The accommodations were gorgeous, the location was gorgeous and our Hostess was wonderful. This B&B is off the Beaten Track but well worth the trip. If we go back this will be our number one choice of place to stay.

Blackstone’s house was an amazing place to stay for our first time in Ireland… Absolutely stunning scenery, room was fantastic and clean, delicious breakfast every morning… Hospitality and a beautiful wonderful place to say… I would give it 20 out of 10!!
