This little B&B was perfect for our overnight visit. It was clean, the host was very polite and helpful, and the room was exactly what we needed and as was described at booking. It's a short walk to town for restaurants and pubs. I realize they no longer served breakfast but we don't really eat breakfast and just grabbed a coffee in town on our way out. There was a coffee maker in the room but we opted to skip that. It is obvious the place is a house versus hotel since it was a bit easy to hear the people walking around upstairs of our room and we could also hear the flushing of water down the pipes. But we would definitely stay here again if/when we ever go back to Ireland.

We had a warm wellcome by Mrs Lyons. The local pubs, Restaurant and other attractions we could easily walk to in Killorglin. Rooms are as expected clean and had everything we need. Since we were on tour every day we unfortunately could not enjoy the lovely Garden.

The Torine House was welcoming and a great location for us to head out to dinner, walk in town, hike in Killarney National Park and have a refreshment afterward at Killarney Brewing & Distilling Co. Catherine's garden provided a beautiful setting for my husband and his laptop when he needed to attend to some work. I thoroughly enjoyed my tea and breakfast in the morn. We travelled with our teenagers so quarters were cramped for the four of us. Separate rooms next time ;)
