My family and I stayed at the Torine House from June 2-June 9, 2018. Our time there was wonderful! Tony and Catherine were warm and welcoming. They always had our needs met in a clean, comfortable room and we had a hot, full Irish breakfast each morning. I felt like I was staying at a family member's home instead of a B&B. The most amazing thing was that Catherine really helped us when we were in a pinch. Without her help, we would have been in a pretty terrible position. She went out of her way to accommodate us and I'm very thankful for that. Tony was full of suggestions for wonderful visitor spots and sights to see that weren't part of the regular list of sights. I hope one day we can visit again, thank you Tony and Catherine!

The Torine house is beautiful, big and very clean. It's in a very nice area near town. The hosts were very nice and helpful. They gave us advice on where to eat and good places to sight see the next day. I'm so thankful for their advice. The national park was one of our favorite stops. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Torine house was our stay before driving along the Ring of Kerry. We didn't have reservations so we didn't know what to expect because no research had gone into finding it. BUT we are so glad we did find this little gem. The home is so nice and clean, our ensuite had fresh white linens and a heated mattress, it made for our best night sleep on our entire trip. The town is only a 5 min walk, Catherine gave us some great recommendations on where to dine for dinner and we had a lovely evening stroll back. Breakfast was great, I wish we had some more time, Catherine's garden would make for a great spot for an evening glass of wine, or morning coffee. We will be sure to visit again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time visiting the Torine House. A beautiful house, very clean. The host was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Especially enjoyed meeting Catherine's husband Tony (I believe I have his name correct). He was most kind and gave lots of wonderful advice for how to see and experience as much of the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula (and more). Wonderful hosts in a great location. Wonderful communication with them. Highly recommend!

Of all the places we stayed in, Torine House was our least favorite. We needed to be up very early the next morning for a planned ride in the National Park and were not offered an early breakfast of any kind. We requested cereal and fruit when we noted that the courtesy had been extended to another guest. We did not feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were good but I would not recommend Torine House.

Host's Reply:
Dear Barbara I was very disappointed to read your review. I am sorry you did not feel welcome in my home, this was certainly not my intention. I start serving breakfast at 7am and if guests are looking for breakfast before this time, like yourselves, I always leave out cereal and fruit for them. This is certainly not a problem in my home as I don't like anyone leaving my house, hungry. Thank you for the lovely comments about our rooms and breakfast. I hope that you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. Catherine
