We spent three exceptional days and evening at the Torine House in Killorglin. Our hosts were gracious. Our room was neat and tidy. Our homemade breakfasts were perfect. During the days the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park, and the Ring of Kerry were all a half hour away. For evenings an eight minute walk found us in a workaday Irish town with good restaurants and a great pub along with every day shops such as an Aldi’s to buy makings for picnic lunches. On the evening walks back to the Torine House on a clear night, we could see the Milky Way and search for constellations. We had an interesting talk with an English couple and fun with a young German couple. We were glad we stayed in a quiet Irish town rather than a tourist hub.
