I agree with all that has been said about what an excellent host Katherine is-smart and funny and an incredibly talented gardener! The room I had was small, but lovely, and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. I will be honest and say that when I first pulled up I was a bit disappointed with the location. It is on a busy road and it is a bit of a walk to get to the center of town. However, once you are in the home, it is a whole different experience, with a lovely sense of calm. The breakfast, as has been mentioned, is fantastic. Probably the best I had in all of the places I stayed. Katherine was also very helpful in terms of recommendations for places to see and eat. I will go back to this lodging in a heartbeat if I return to the area. Thank you Katherine.

Thank you Katherine for being so hospitable! We stayed here two nights as part of our honeymoon and it was great! Thank you for showing us the map and even helping us ship souvenirs home! We hope to visit again!

The house, room, host, garden, bathroom, breakfast...everything was fantastic. We were only able to stay one night out of 10 nights we had in Ireland at the Mena house and then compared every other place to it. You will not be disappointed with the comfort of this place. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a menu she gives you the night before. I had incredible french toast and my wife had sweet cheese filled pancakes with strawberries...absolutely delicious and a welcome break from the traditional Irish breakfast. Can't go wrong here. Thanks Katherine!

This was our favorite B&B during our stay in Ireland! Katherine was amazing! She was so funny, and incredibly helpful. She told us exactly where to go and gave us suggestions of places to visit. The room was phenomenal! Everything was very clean, and the room was big. I would highly recommend staying here. Breakfast we DELICIOUS!
