This was our first B&B in our 2 week adventure in Ireland and was by far the best views! This was also the ONLY B&B we stayed at that gave us tea, coffee, and cookies (milk for my daughter) when we arrived. That was a lovely treat! The room was a very nice size with a table and chairs in the room---the only one that had this! We arrived a little early so we kind of threw the Hosts off a bit---but they were very nice. We spent the evening in Donegal Town---very close--and had a nice one-night stay. Like other guests---wish the dinning room was bigger--we had to wait on breakfast for a table to clear, not terribly long.

Incredible views here at Ardlenagh! There is a steep driveway leading up to the house, but it is well worth it- the house is on a hill that is surrounded by water on one side and by rolling hills dotted with sheep on the other. Luckily, our room sported windows that showed both! The ensuite bathroom was also very nice- the hosts definitely pay attention to room presentation. Eileen, our host, was very accommodating. She offered us tea when we arrived, and we were served in the main sitting room. As new guests arrived, Eileen offered them the same, then facilitated the introductions between guests. We very much liked how Eileen was very active in socializing with guests and creating a welcoming environment. Donegal city center is less than a 4-minute drive away, and we enjoyed dinner at Quay West (there are coupons for many restaurants all over the B&B, be sure to grab one!). The only drawback was the dining room, which was a bit small at breakfast, but the food well made up for it.

Lovely place to stay! We were greeted warmly with tea and biscuits. Eileen gave us suggestions as to were we should eat and what to see in town. The room was clean and spacious. Very friendly hosts!
