Rockmount House

Rockmount House was just lovely! Our room looked towards the sea. Anne and Paddy were the perfect hosts - so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was excellent and the presentation exceptional. We also loved the guest lounge. We spent two nights, but could easily have spent four. We’ll have to go back!

The location of this property is just outstanding. It was conveniently located near our planned trips to Kylemore Abbey, Cong, and Killary Fjord. We also enjoyed an unplanned visit to Omey Island. Although it isn't the reason we chose this property, the town of Clifden is an absolute gem! With its clean rooms and hearty breakfasts, Rockmount House definitely did not disappoint.

Rockmount was a beautiful, quiet place to rest after a long day of driving. It feels isolated, yet is within a few miles of Clifden if you're looking for a good meal and music. We had a lovely time, and the hosts were very friendly. Our breakfast was just right.

Very nice room, friendly welcome, very good breakfast and lovely views. The only disadvantage was that the room looked on the parking spot and every one passing by looked in the window.

A Beautiful location is an under statement, even if a bit isolated. Part of the charm for us. The room and bathroom were clean, nicely appointed and amply sized. Bonnie the collie was the best greeter. We should have booked more days. I would return in a heart beat.
