Meet your host…

Rita Morgan

I have been sharing my home with guests for many years and really enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I have made many friends along the way. As a B&B host I hope to ensure that all our visitors delight in everything our B&B has to offer including the local area, the history, the colour and the craic that gives Roscommon its special ambiance. I hope your stay with us is a truly memorable one.

Rita is a gracious hostess and made us feel welcome. Her B&B is close to town and this makes travelling to evening meals easy. It is unfortunate that coffee and tea are not supplied in the rooms, as we certainly enjoy having a quiet cuppa in the privacy of our room. We enjoyed our conversations with her and she suggested several tourist sites and ideas that were well worth it.

The house was lovely and the view was pretty. Rita was very nice, but had some "rules" that we found to be odd based on other B&B's we stayed in. We were not allowed to bring coffee or tea upstairs (I love to drink my coffee in peace each morning), were told we could only use one bed in our room (my husband tosses and turns some night due to back pain) which I thought was strange since we paid for the room. We were also told to drop our luggage as we were coming down the stairs for breakfast as "she could not wait on us to bring down the luggage as she had breakfast waiting and others to attend to". She seems eager to get us fed and out the door. I don't think I would stay here again just based on the above. However the food was good and our room was clean.

Thank you for making my stay very comfortable and relaxing. I was quite tired and pretty much stayed inside and rested..Even though it was raining outside but to me Ireland was beautiful rain or shine.

Rita is a great host. Made us feel like family. Nice home, wonderful breakfast. Our room was nice. The home was easy to find and close to the heart of town.
