Sunville House

We had the most wonderful stay at Sunville House in Ballycotton! A true sanctuary! Our hosts Pad and Anna are the loveliest couple, and fabulous chefs & bakers to boot! This is such a peaceful and welcoming place. Thank you so much!

We thought Sunville House was marvellous. The best breakfasts, from delicious porridge, home-poached fruit and individually cooked bacon, eggs and mushrooms to pancakes home-baked bread, scones, and bread, with choice of teas in teapots and coffee, plus fresh orange juice. Pad and Anna went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, from changing our room on arrival to accommodate problem with stairs, to Pad personally driving to direct us to a local garage to sort out an issue with our car. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We loved the kitchenette with facilities for making our own drinks, and fresh cakes left out in the evening. Lovely countryside around the area, superb beaches and interesting small towns and villages, with plenty of information from Pad and Anna about good places to visit. And fascinating information about a descendant of William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, the ruins of whose house are in their garden. We will certainly visit again, much appreciated.

Beautiful peaceful location. Anna and Pat were great hosts. Wonderful homemade breakfast every morning. Highly recommend.

Quiet and large room with a great shower. Hosts went above and beyond with niceties. Short drive to the beach and local eateries, which had fine food for reasonable prices. Would stay there again.
