We spent two nights at Marguerite's B&B and don't regret a second! Marguerite (and her husband) is a host you have always wanted. Giving a very warm welcome, helpful in finding things to do, suggesting good restaurants, easy going, pleasant to talk to about all kinds of things (e.g. the engagement of one of her sons) even though we are not native English speaking. The lounging room and our own room were very cozy. Excellent breakfast. We could go on and on about all the good things.
Last but not least, when we started the car to move on to our next stop, she came to the door waving goodbye, making us feel like leaving the house of a family member.
Definitely a place to come back to some day!

We really enjoyed our stay and we were made very welcome. Marguerite is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. She gave us lots of tips and ideas to help get the most out of our time in Skibbereen and West Cork.

The place was gorgeous, well kept, and Marguerite was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stayed only one night, in the future would spend more time there. It is a good home base for exploring the southwestern part of Ireland. Breakfast was amazing, so many options of what to eat. But once again Marguerite and her husband made us feel at home.
