Had a confirmed reservation for Tuesday 4th October 2022. When we arrived the guest house was clearly closed leaving us without a room for the night. The kind ladies at the Offaly Historical Society called the Tudor Lodge and luckily Maria was able to accommodate us. We gather the owners were in Italy!!

Highly recommend this quaint and homey B&B with the welcoming crackling fire in the lobby, clean and comfortable rooms and a warm and friendly welcome from our host Frank at check in. Breakfast was very good. Easy walk to town for dinner too! This was the perfect place for us to stay on our first night in Ireland.
