Shannon Breeze is an attractive B&B set near Lough Derg on the outskirts of Killaloe, County Clare. Phyll and Noel Bugler welcome guests to their family-run bed and breakfast where they will experience a comfortable, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. All bedrooms are bright and clean with wooden floors and en-suite facilities. There is a private guest lounge with an open fire and a beautiful garden to relax in when weather permits. An extensive breakfast menu is served daily in the dining room setting guests up for the day ahead. There is private parking and a drying room for the outdoor enthusiasts.

How to get here

From Dublin to Limerick take Exit 26, continue on the old N7 and take the 1st right into Ballina/Killaloe(R496). Drive for 1km and Shannon Breeze is on the right. From Killaloe, cross the bridge over the Shannon, turn right for approx .75km, turn right and drive for .75km, take left at V Junction onto R496, Shannon Breeze is on left-hand side (approx 1km from V Junction).

Phyllis was an absolute delight as a person and host. I highly recommend Shannon Breeze to anyone including families with children for a pleasant experience with a gracious host.

I did not stay at this B&B I booked it but cancelled the same day I made the reservation, which was about a month before arrival date. When I did not receive any acknowledgment of my cancellation I emailed the host and was asked for copies of my cancellation
