Orchid House

We spent one night at Orchid House. We received a very warm welcome from Gill. The room had a double bed but was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was hearty. Excellent location near the Cliffs of Moher.

Orchid House was my first ever experience of Ireland. Gill and Pat were wonderful and gave a very warm welcome! I felt at home despite being so very far from my own. They were both more than willing to answer whatever questions I had, whether they were about Irish customs or their own history. I'd be glad to visit again if I ever get the chance!

We stayed with Gill and Pat at Orchid House over the May Bank Holiday weekend and we had a wonderful time. Their hospitality was very warm and attentive and we had the most delicious breakfast. Orchid House is spotless and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The views are spectacular from all sides. We had a great meal in O'Donoghues Pub in Fanore which Gill had recommended. Great services and food here also. Thanks for a great stay in Fanore

Nous recommandons chaleureusement la maison de Gill, où nous avons trouvé chaleur humaine, cordialité et sincérité. La maison est bien aménagée, la chambre propre et agréable. Vue imprenable sur l’océan et le ballet des oiseaux devant la fenêtre. Petit déjeuner fait maison par Gill avec des produits frais. Quant au seul pub de Fanore, c’est aussi un excellent restaurant, peu onéreux, avec des plats copieux et bien cuisinés.

Very nice home good food and friendly atmosphere. Very helpful. Thank you. Only one place to eat nearby and I was less than impressed with their staff.
