We 4 from Manchester, NH USA had a outstanding time at the Arches. Our hostess,Pearl, was a delight; with a wealth of information about their farm and the local community. We had time to enjoy a glass of wine in her sun room, a mini game of golf on the crazy course, and a chance to take a picture of the day old calf in the field in front of the home. We had a very nice dinner at the Breffni Arms Hotel in town. We would highly recommend The Arches.

What a wonderful place! We truly enjoyed walking the farm and just relaxing after being in Galway for several days. Pearl is a gem! Very helpful and her scones with jam were amazing. Check out the art downstairs, those are Pearl's paintings and they are wonderful! Rooms were very clean and bathrooms were modern with lots of hot water. Thanks Pearl! (Pearl, did my husband leave his wool hat at your home? Would love to pay to have it shipped to us.:) )

What a wonderful home with a view that is unbelievable!! Pearl was the perfect hostess, attending to our every need. The property is breathtaking as you overlook pasture and mountains with flowers everywhere. The room and bathroom were large and comfy and the breakfast was unbelievable. Hot, homemade scones, jams and tea were ready at our arrival. A walk down to the lake and a quick game of "crazy golf" topped off the evening. What a wonderful way to wind down our trip to Ireland. We will certainly be back.

WOW! What an awesome B&B! Pearl was away and her daughter Naomi was there in her stead. What a lovely young woman. She made us feel right at home. We were given tea and scones once we were settled in our room. Naomi was very helpful in giving us directions. Breakfast was delicious, and I really liked the location. Best B&B in Ireland! I would stay there over and over again! Definitely at perfect 10 in my opinion.

This is more of an experience than a place to spend the night. A working beef farm that is unique in many ways from the afternoon scones to the wonderful interaction of our host. The only challenge was the difficulty of finding the B&B, even with three locals having said “you can’t miss it.” We highly recommend this choice.
