Absolutely superb, every detail, as advertised. Pearl had spot-on advice about local dining and sights, directions, and genealogical information that proved very helpful to that aspect of our visit to this "Lake District," off-the-beaten path, just gorgeous part of Ireland. And as the local fishing is mentioned in their advertising, I am interested next trip: Pearl showed us a photograph of a guest just two weeks before hoisting a monster pike in his arms that scaled nearly 30 lbs. Pike aficionados from Canada and the U.S. take notice---you would love fishing here with several lakes to choose from amid rolling emerald-green pastures dotted with sheep and golf to assuage you if you get skunked.

Pearl and her husband were wonderful hosts. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the scenery fantastic. Truly a picturesque and beautiful representation of a working Irish farm. I will definitely recommend The Arches to my friends and family.

Pearl was very welcoming and helpful. She gave us restaurant suggestions and told us about a park nearby that we could walk around in. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The homemade bread, scones and jams were absolutely fabulous!

This was our first stay in a B&B for a long time and such a nice return to this venue. The location and views are spectacular - our room was very nice - breakfast was delicious. We even had an opportunity to talk with the cows and walk down to the lake on the property. What a treat! Thank you and good luck, Pearl!
