CENTRALLY LOCATED AND HAS IT ALL!! First of all - this place is centrally located in Ireland, making it the perfect base for those intending to explore disparate parts of the country. Most importantly, though, it's wonderfully immaculate, welcoming and cozy. This is a small thing, but the shower in our room was wonderfully indulgent. There are TENNIS COURTS!! Even though we spent only two days at the Arches, my wife and I - big tennis fanatics - played tennis for a total of about three hours! The courts are in excellent shape. If you have kids - there is a wonderful miniature golf course. If we'd had the time, we would have played, but those tennis courts were too big an attraction for us. The breakfasts are heavenly. If I close my eyes I can just taste the eggs and bacon. The baked goods are pure heaven - brown bread and jam, fresh scones, etc., etc. Mmmmm! Pearl and Wilson are wonderful hosts who work very hard to make everyone's stay special. The Arches is a stone's throw from local villages and shops and other local attractions. If you come in the summer / early autumn, there is a TON of activities for all ages. We WILL be back- hopefully with family next time. I just can't say enough good things about this place.

Very welcoming hosts, lovely room and surroundings - the views are stunning. The homemade scones were delicious as was the breakfast. But the best part was that my mother was born just half a mile away and Pearl and Wilson were very indulgent discussing the past with my mother. If she is able we will certainly return and have no hesitation recommending The Arches as an excellent B&B

The Arches is the very best B&B we have ever stayed in, and this was our third trip to Ireland. What a wonderful place in every way. Our room was large and lovely, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The setting is amazing - gorgeous views everywhere we looked. The breakfasts were delicious, and our hosts were helpful and gracious. We highly recommend the Arches, and we hope to return.

I had been reluctant to stay at a B&B because of past experience but the Arches changed my mind. Pearl is dedicated and welcoming, the room was spotless, comfortable and private. We were welcomed with hot tea and scones, breakfast was one of the best i have had while touring Ireland. The rural setting is peaceful, beautiful and for an aspiring painter, ideal. Thanks Pearl, we appreciate your hospitality.
