This is more of an experience than a place to spend the night. A working beef farm that is unique in many ways from the afternoon scones to the wonderful interaction of our host. The only challenge was the difficulty of finding the B&B, even with three locals having said “you can’t miss it.” We highly recommend this choice.

Our first night's stay in Ireland was at the Arches - a perfect welcome for our trip. We had a beautiful view of the countryside from their lovely home. Pearl was most gracious, we tasted our first "Irish breakfast" with assorted cereals, yogurt, fruit and breads. We had a delightful conversation about Irish customs, culture and life. Would highly recommend Arches to others.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Pearl with afternoon tea and the most delicious scones with black berry currant jelly (both home made & amazing!!!) Our room was immaculate and perfect in every way! I have sent out countless photos of this beautiful B&B to all family & friends and told all they must visit this most perfect B&B in Arvagh Ireland! Breakfast was a wonderful experience and everything was beyond delicious & fresh! I cannot imagine a more perfect B&B, you set the bar very high Pearl - cannot wait to return!!! Pearl was not only a fantastic host but such a help as our cell phones died and we had to contact Dan Dooley car rental as the GPS stopped working as well! Don't know what we would have done without her! You owe it to yourself to visit the Arches in Arvagh!

What a marvelous B&B! The Arches is a true gem. Its central location was perfect for our itinerary. Our bedroom was so pretty and cozy - with an excellent shower! - and we loved the gorgeous views. Pearl's lavish breakfast was another treat - anything we wished plus homemade scones and jams we couldn't eat fast enough. Best of all was the warmth and welcoming heart of our hostess; Pearl's information and stories made us feel like part of the family. We live near San Francisco and are telling all our friends about The Arches. We hope to return one day and experience this wonderful spot all over again!

Extra-nice B&B a stone's throw from Arvagh. Pearl is a jewel (pun intended).
