Arrived in the afternoon, Marie was very attentive & very busy woman! She made sure we were comfortable, made us afternoon tea. Lovely grounds and fields, comfortable room, interesting to see the architect of a 220+ year old stone home, great breakfast. The bathroom could use some updating. We enjoyed our stay!

We spent only a night there in April and we had good time. The house is really beautiful and it's a very nice experience to spend some time living the daily routine in such an ancient building. The location surrounded by green fields and the cows grazing near the house make the place a perfect picture of Irish countryside (even though this implies a strong smell of stall everywhere). The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, but the bathrooms may need some renovations, especially the plumbing (the rooms on the upper floor are not served by sufficient water pressure). Mrs Marie McGuinness welcomed us in a very friendly way, suggesting a good place for dinner in Kildare and offering support for our needs. We had a really good time at breakfast: the dedicated room is lovely and cozy and the food and beverage is taken care of in the smallest details.

Marie was fabulous and her home is beautiful! We didn’t get to stay for breakfast due to an early flight in the morning, but absolutely loved her home!
