We spend two nights at this historic home, it really felt like a home. Our room was spacious and contained all the amenities we needed. Marie and her husband were friendly and tolerated all of our questions :) We loved being in the country with the cows, horses and other wildlife. It's special to get to stay at a place so old. We highly recommend staying here.

Perfectly splendid! After flying to Ireland from the U.S. on an overnight flight, dealing with customs, waiting to get our rental car, and trying to get out of the city, arriving at Cloncarlin House was exactly what we needed. Nestled in the countryside, it was the perfect start to our Ireland vacation. Marie was the most hospitable host and catered to our every need. The peace and quiet at night cannot go without mention. Breakfast in the morning was by far the best we had out of the 8 places we stayed in Ireland. Thank you so much Marie, Rick & Shannon

Marie creates beautiful spaces and memories for all her guests. The room was comfortable and the showers hot! The food was superb and the farm was just breathtaking. We said hi to her horses every morning and couldn’t have had a better experience. Highly recommend!

We arrived a little bit earlier than planned, but it wasn't a problem! Marie was very kind and gave us the keys too our room anyways. It was very beautiful to stay on the countryside for one night. We saw several bunnies, healthy looking cloncarlin cows and horses. The farmhouse has spacious rooms, with high ceilings and very pretty tiles in the bathroom. Marie provided yummy and hearty breakfast, with home made bread, eggs and beans. (Whatever you choose) Thanks Marie!

Charming hostess in a lovely house. Elegant although it is still a working farm. If you stay with Marie, leave the windows open at night for the clear country air and take a walk to see the horse and cows before your delicious Irish breakfast.
