We stayed for two nights at the lodge. Seemed as we were in the midst of renovation throughout although everything important worked. We were close enough to Donegal so as a base it worked well. Bridie was gracious and our breakfasts were quite nice. Her recommendation of Lusty Beg was quite fun for our small group. Probably the best music time we experienced — and no one was there to appreciate it. We did, however. I hope the work gets finished and more people come to stay.

Beautiful place, very gracious hosts. Already talking about a return trip to enjoy the area and stay for more than one night. Our room was lovely and very quiet. Loved the openness of the great room very relaxing. Had a wonderful time and will be returning to fish and see more of this local area.

The lodge was lovely and really convenient for my large group! The breakfast was awesome every morning. I imagine it would be even better to visit during nice fishing weather and after renovations are complete.

The Lodge is a unique and beautiful lake property and Bridie and James are very gracious hosts. We enjoyed staying in one of their new suites that have been added in the lodge expansion. Access to the lake was fantastic. Enjoyed an evening of local music at the Black Cat !
