Beautiful location, spotless facilities but it was the warm welcome that made it a special place. Delicious breakfast too!

Rosie, Stephen and Eileen are reason enough to stay here with their little buddy Tyson. The accommodations were warm and comfortable. Every breakfast and the dinner we shared was good - fresh fruit, delicious breads, as well cereals if we preferred. Appreciated the choices.
Stephen, a fisherman - shared the Legend of the Swans.

The Yellow Rose BandB is exceptional. Even though it is situated in a remote part of North Mayo, it's a great location for exploring the area and especially close to the Ceide Fields. The views are beautiful. Stephen and Eileen are perfect hosts, making us very welcome and comfortable. The food was great and plentiful and we enjoyed the dinners cooked for us. We will certainly recommend the Yellow Rose.

As with other commenters, the allure of the Yellow Rose (besides the desolate beauty of the Beldarrig area) had to be the charm and kindness of Stephen and his family. We were there two nights whilst exploring the North Mayo area, and though sparsely populated, we were able to explore the area and enjoy the sun and warmth of the area. Stephen shared stories, suggestions, and even some local ‘poitin’ spirits that led to a fun tipsy after dinner stroll. What perhaps lacked in space was made up for by his attention to our (and others) needs.
