50th Fleadh Nua in Ennis

May 25th - June 3th The Fleadh Nua is a traditional Irish music festival which takes place every May in Ireland, in the town of Ennis in County Clare.  The 2024 Fleadh Nua promises to be a wonderful 10 days of music, fun, entertainment, and celebration for all the family.  With more than 120 events planned, there really is something for everyone, from concerts and ceilís, to street performances and dancing workshops, to musical recitals and Irish dancing competitions.

Irish Music, Song and Dance

Since the first Fleadh Nua in Ennis in 1974, the festival has grown in popularity each year, with thousands of people travelling to the beautiful county of Clare to immerse themselves in Irish music, song and dance. What once began as a festival that spanned three days, the Fleadh Nua now lasts 10 days, with each day brimming with activity, innovation, and excitement.

The Fleadh Nua is centred upon celebrating the world-famous traditional music of Ireland and it is also a reminder of the rich and creative culture of the Emerald Isle.
