I had a wonderful stay in Cavengarden. The room had everything I needed and the breakfast set me up for the day. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful drive up but nobody home. We knocked and knocked and knocked and rang doorbell. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., right when we were supposed to check in. There were two dogs out front, but that was the only sign of life. My husband was filled with forboding that we seemed to be the only ones out there in the woods. I contacted her by e-mail letting her know we were there waiting 20 minutes. I never to this day got a reply back. Luckily another B & B down the street took us in. Do not book this.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now and love it every time. We have stayed in the Manor house and stayed in the self-catering units. Agnes is a wonderful host. Can't wait to stay here again!

We arrived just as a sleet storm was coming! Agnes met us at the door and told us to wait 5 minutes and the weather would change, she was right! We enjoyed this older home full of character. After arriving and unpacking, we decided to go on an adventure drive around the area. When we returned Agnes had warmed our room with a clean space heater and had left a menu for breakfast on our bed. Wonderful house, surrounding area including town and hostess.

We drove up a long winding driveway. We went to the door and there was no door bell so we knocked. A sweet little old lady answered with a dish cloth in hand so we thought this must b the housekeeper. We were taken upstairs to the bedroom that we learned immediatly it wasn't the room as we arranged for two single beds so we were taken to the next room. We were freezing in our rooms so we asked for heat and the the lady said she would send up a space heater. We were relaxing in our room and all of sudden the door flew open and we heard something it was a piece of paper and pen to say how many guest and what kind of breakfast, instead of sliding under our door. All night long and I'm not kidding all night there was either a tv or someone having a conversation. It reminds my son and I of the Bates Motel in fact we were so spoke we sent a review at the end of th lane way on our way out. The little old lady was lovlely but the place was dark cold and eery
